The Brooklyn artist is thrilled to bring his new album DEACON to the PHI Centre stage.
Opening act: Apollo Mighty
serpentwithfeet is not only imagining, but exploring a world wherein Black love is paramount. His new album, DEACON, is “a study rather than a story,” delving into Black, gay love and the tenderness present in the best companionships, romantic or otherwise.
DEACON highlights serpent’s growth as a songwriter, taking a more straightforward approach to expression. In his love for love, serpentwithfeet is offering a look into the soul of a man who articulates his passion in a warmer, gentler way. He’s become wholly confident in his gift and messaging.
Through his music, he allows compassion to be the backbone of his art, as he communes with his most loving self.
Apollo Mighty is an R&B/Soul artist based out of Chicago. Originally from Memphis, Apollo had a strong passion for music from a young age.
Apollo Mighty's sound has been described as "a mix of John Legend and Kid Cudi" and "The Weeknd meets Frank Ocean”.
In 2020, Apollo released his Behavior EP, which amassed over 600,000 streams across platforms. This project was well received and reviewed by both critics and fans. It was featured on multiple official Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube Music playlists.
His previous releases—Solid Gold, Forbidden Fruit and Let Go—have accumulated hundreds of thousands of streams.
