Please note that the PHI Centre's programming hours may differ from its office and box office hours. To avoid any surprises, check out the PHI Centre's programming in advance to view the specific schedule of the exhibition or event that you're interested in visiting.

Tickets can be purchased in advance from the PHI Centre's online box office or over the phone at 514 225-0525.

The PHI Centre is located in the heart of Old Montréal, two blocks away from the PHI Foundation buildings:
Public transport: After exiting Square-Victoria—OACI or Place-d’Armes (orange line), the PHI Centre is approximately a 5 minute walk. Consult the STM website to obtain the best itinerary (bus and/or metro).
Bike: Bike on over! The beautiful Canal Lachine bike path is right around the corner from us.
BIXI: Consult the BIXI station map to know, in real time, the number of bikes and docking points available at each station.
Car-pooling & car-sharing services: We suggest Communauto.
Parking: Here’s a map of parking lots in Old Montréal.

General Information
• The wearing of masks is no longer mandatory. However, we offer masks to visitors who wish to wear them.
• Gel hand sanitizing stations are available.
If you have symptoms associated with COVID-19, please postpone your visit.
Reservations are not required, but before visiting the exhibition, you will be asked to register at the two entrances, located at 451 and 465 Saint-Jean Street, suite 120. When you register, we’ll ask you for a few details so that we can send you a survey about your experience: first and last name, and email address. Please note that it is optional to share this information with us. All personal data is protected and will not be kept after the survey has been sent.
We recommend that you plan about an hour for a complete visit of the exhibition.
There could be a few minutes of waiting time upon your arrival, before coming into the Foundation. Please prepare yourself according to the weather, rain or shine.
Please note that the Foundation will not be able to store your personal belongings. Please bring only what is necessary. Backpacks will not be permitted.
The PHI Foundation for Contemporary Art is committed to providing a space that is welcoming and accessible to all individuals. Please keep a safe distance from the artworks and be careful not to touch them, unless otherwise specified. Please note that the PHI Foundation spaces are under camera surveillance.
The exhibition Rajni Perera and Marigold Santos: Efflorescence/The Way We Wake addresses many themes, including maternity and women’s empowerment. Some of the works presented contain nudity. Viewer discretion is advised.
The installation FEELING HER WAY by Sonia Boyce can be loud at certain moments. Complimentary ear plugs and a limited quantity of noise-reducing earmuffs for kids are available at the 465 Saint-Jean Street reception desk.
Please note that photography is allowed for personal use for certain exhibitions, however, the use of video cameras, flash or tripods is not allowed. Please note that depending on the exhibitions, the photography policy might vary according to the copyright policy and permission of the artist. See our gallery attendants for more information. Outside food and beverages are not allowed in the gallery spaces of the PHI Foundation.

The Education Department offers on-site group visits and online virtual animations for school, academic, community, language school and general public groups. The group visit can be combined with a creative workshop. Book a visit.

A Wi-Fi network is available for free to visitors of the PHI Foundation. See our gallery attendants for more information on our mediation tools to complement your visit.
Abuse of any kind towards PHI Foundation staff members will not be tolerated. Anyone exhibiting these behaviours will be asked to stop or to leave.
The PHI Foundation’s programming is developed by its curatorial team and it does not accept unsolicited submissions. Please do not call. Please note that the PHI Foundation does not represent any artist.
The PHI Foundation does not rent its gallery spaces for any external events.
