Born in Montreal in 1985, Juliana Léveillé-Trudel writes in multiple genres: novels (Nirliit, La Peuplade, 2015); picture books (How to Catch a Bear who Loves to Read and A Starlit Trip to the Library, 2018 and 2022 respectively); and theatre (Nous ne sommes pas une ville, Théâtre Pàp and À tour de rôle, coming in 2023). Her work has been translated into English, Spanish, Icelandic, Danish and Basque. She has performed many of her theatrical and literary creations live and is the founder of the non-profit theatre company Productions de brousse. Her second novel, On a tout l’automne, will be published by La Peuplade in October 2022.

Originally from the Gatineau-Ottawa region, Rashel trained as an actress at the National Theatre School of Canada from 2013 to 2017. Passionate about theatre, Quebec cinema but also writing, she completed the scriptwriting program for television comedy at l’École nationale de l’humour in 2021-2022. As an actress you can watch Rashel this fall in the series 5e Rang and Indéfendable. Rashel is a versatile and engaged artist who wishes to participate in every stage of creation, from concept to realization, through writing and directing.

In 2017, Paul quit his sedentary lifestyle and set off to hitchhike the four corners of the earth. 40,000 kilometres later, the many cultural shocks of his travels pushed him to abandon his backpack and return to Montreal. Today, with a Masters of Science in Social Innovation Management from HEC Montréal, he works as a consultant with organizations whose aim is to build a more just, more equitable and less destructive world.

Marie Boucher has lived in the Eastern Townships for the past twenty years. After completing a certificate in literary creation from the UQAM, she devoted herself to her young family. She then returned to her studies and completed a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Kindergarten and Elementary School Education from the University of Sherbrooke. Today she teaches Kindergarten to 5 year olds.
