The Artists are Present series explores the approach and initiatives of local talents seeking sustainable artistic development in their communities. Directly linked to the activities taking place in the PHI_portal, these artists advocate for greater involvement and innovation in their respective spheres.
While at the Centre for the NoBad Sound Studio listening sessions, artist and social worker Jai Nitai Lotus opened up to us about his music program for youth in Côte-des-Neiges. Using a sensitive approach, he focuses on listening to the needs of his community.
